Sony Xperia Miro Review, loading...
Sony again creates a phone costing more than 10k INR. Sony Xperia Miro is one of the lot. Used this phone for a good amount of time and it disappointed me. Sony is burning customer`s cash without any reason.
Calling: Used it for calling and it seemed well. In call volume is good and its efficient. No problem in hearing perfect voice quality from the other end.
Texting: Well texting on a capacitive touchpad is good. Also as the screen size is limited easy texting can be done. Texting can also be done using single hand which is preferred by many people.
Display: Sony Xperia Miro comes with a display of 3.5 inch. It is an odd size. But the display could had been better atleast 4 inch for what the price demands. The clean and clear display. The display overall is good. It was pleasure navigating using the display. Resolution of the phone is 320 x 480 Pixels, hich could had been better though. Well this phone includes Handwriting Recognition, Scratch-resistant, Multi-touch & Gesture Support features in display.
Multimedia-Audio: Sound is one of the most effective feature in which Sony does not lag behind. Great sound quality. Not too high though but clean and peaceful music can be enjoyed. Phone is compatible with mp3 files and also wav,MDI and eAAC sound files.
Multimedia-Video: HD videos can be enjoyed. Though it could had been better if the screen size could had been larger. Video player supports formats like MPEG4, 3GPP and avi. I watched bollywood movie trailer of race 2 on this phone, it was great experience.
Multimedia-Gaming: The phone was great when I played Raging Thunder game. Awesome motion gaming experience. It was a pleasure to play the game. Though I am doubtful whether Temple Run will get played without lagging.
Browsing: Internet Browsing is pretty ok. Not from the default browser though. Using Opera Mini browser whaatt.com opened perfectly showing up all the aspects of the website. Also navigation is faster.
Usability: Though I did not liked the touch of the phone while swiping much. There are times while surfing the applications an application may get selected and opens, which is irritating. You have to swipe/switch the home screens with caution so that no application opens randomly. Camera is pretty ok takes good pics, but the VGA secondary camera is just of no use, pretty dark.
Best for what purposes: Other than calling and texting this phone is best in watching videos and surfing internet. Playing games is fun too.
Final verdict: There is no use in buying this phone at a cost of 13k INR. Better phones are available in the market than this phone. Phablets from micromax outclass this phone in each and every way. The cost of this phone should had been around 9k INR. Now a days the customer service of Sony is also not up to the helpful. So a NO to buy this phone for sure.

This review is misleading. I can say this because i had bought this phone a month before and in my opinion the phone is worth the price. The camera quality is very good. Yes the front camera is a bit dark but it is ok in good light conditions. Touch interface is very good. If you go in the market you can buy this phone at 12.3k INR also.
