Are you not sick of those irritating captchas that you have to answer every time you are submitting a form or posting a comment?
Those captchas are sometimes too tricky for you answer correctly in the first attempt. Many users get frustrated by these scrambled images and close the webpage in their defence.

Many bloggers like me know how important it is to get the feedback from the visitors. We bloggers also hate spam just like you do. So, to prevent spambots from flooding our pages with irrelevant data we have to deploy anti-spam filters. And to prove that the visitor is not a spam-bot captchas are used.
I know how annoying it is prove that you’re human. But don’t you worry. A start-up called Minteye has come up with something which is much less irritating and yet does the same thing as captchas.
Minteye has plans to replace the captcha with what they call as sliding image.
How does Sliding Image differ from Captcha?
Instead of a captcha, the visitor is presented with a deformed image having a slider below it. The only thing that the visitor has to do is adjust the slider at a position where the image looks like it should in the absence of distortions.
The visitor doesn’t have to enter a string of characters but simply has to move the slider to a proper location. This can be done very easily with touch-screen devices and also with a conventional computer mouse.

The location at which the image can be seen without deformities is not fixed. Hence, the spam-bot can be fooled.
Benefit to the admins and Ad-Publishers
Minteye states that even an advertisement in the form of an image can also be put as the sliding image. The website admins and ad-publishers can use these sliding images for keeping the spammers at bay and also for generating extra revenue.
Scope
Various plugins for use in different programming environments like Java, C#, ASP .NET, PHP, WordPress, Python, and Perl etc are already available.
Minteye’s Sliding Images don’t work when the user has Ad-Block plugin enabled.
