Karbonn adds up one more tablet in their Tablets List- Karbonn Smart Tab 10. The Cosmic tablet was seen on karbonmobiles.com yesterday & it is now available online. After their efforts to bring up the Karbonn Smart Tab 9 Marvel, they bring the Karbonn Smart Tab 10 Cosmic tablet with some more added features. • First Looks:

Karbonn Smart Tab 10 has a huge 9.7 inch TFT Capacitive Touchscreen. It has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels with an important feature having 10 point multi-touch. The front also shows a secondary VGA camera on the top & a button at the bottom. It is yet unclear about the buttons & their functioning on this tablet. The back shows dual color with a camera on the top & the Company logo in the middle.

• Hardware:

Karbonn Smart Tab 10 has 1.5GHz Cortex A9 Dual-Core processor, which has become the USP of the Smart Tab. The processor seems to be amazing at this price tag. It has 1GB DDR3 RAM. Multi-tasking would be better with this tablet. The internal memory is not known yet but it has micro SD card slot which will support expandable memory up to 32GB. Karbonn Smart Tab 10 runs on Android 4.1.1 JellyBean OS, best at this price. The Cosmic tablet misses SIM card slot.

• Camera & Battery:

It has dual-camera. The front camera of Karbonn Smart Tab 10 is a VGA camera whereas the rear has 2MP camera. Now, this seems to be a bit disappointing. It also has a better 6000mAh battery which should supply uninterrupted juice for 5 hours or more.

• Gaming & Multimedia:

Well, all your motion-sensing games will be fun to be played on this tablet. It can also play 1080p videos. Watching videos or movies on 9.7 inch screen is much better than a 5 inch smartphone or even a 7 inch tablet.

• Connectivity:

Karbonn Smart Tab 10 has various connectivity options like 3G via USB dongle. The donglesthatwill be supported are listed on Saholic.com as- Reliance, Tata Photon & Vodafone. You can also use Wi-Fi on this tablet. The karbonnmobiles.com says that it has micro USB port as well as HDMI port. This would be great to use. The Bluetooth feature is mentioned on Saholic.com but not on the official Karbonn site.

• Softwares:

Karbonn Smart Tab 10 is loaded with many apps. Some of the common apps are- Google Play Store, Gmail, Gtalk, Youtube, Kingsoft Office and Facebook. It has Angry Birds, Turbo FLY 3D & Flipboard which gives world new in a magazine format. Some more include- Times of India app, Just Dial app, Popi (online recharge), Economic Times, Pay TM, etc.

BLIND VERDICT:

The Karbonn Smart Tab 10 seems to be pretty great product by Karbonn. The Cosmic tablet is originally priced to be at Rs. 10,490 whereas Saholic.com listed it to be available at Rs. 10,280. The device offers great features at this price, more interestingly the 1.5GHz processor & 1GB RAM. The brand difference for a similar product would surely cost you around Rs. 20,000 or even more. The tablet is worth a buy.
