When was the last time when you used the infamous inbuilt browser in Windows, the Internet Explorer? Most of the noobs using the Windows XP thought of the Internet Explorer (IE 6) as the only means of browsing the web.
“It’s easy to use and doesn’t require any installation” were the main points in the justification of a person when asked about the love for IE.
People refrained from using the alternative browsers like Mozilla Firefox for some extremely personal reasons. Those who migrated to the alternatives have had a very good time. But there are some people like in this video (Released by MICROSOFT) who are always willing to defame the IE.
You can always find derogatory comments about the poor IE all over the web. Some of the most famous ones are:
- IE Sucks
- Only losers use Internet Explorer
- The crappiest browser in the world
- Only useful for downloading other browsers
- A browser for the newbies and retards
The main thing is that even Microsoft has admitted that the IE 6 sucked. Microsoft is now pleading the IE haters to at least try the new IE 10 before defaming it on the internet. They have even launched a website The Browser You loved to Hate for changing the opinion of those IE haters.
We would say that the new IE 10 is very refined and it can definitely compete with the other famous browsers in the market. Through this video all that Microsoft is trying to say is, ” The browser has changed and so should your opinion.”
Microsoft has woken up from its hibernation and is now leaving no stone unturned for improving the image of their browser. The users on the other hand are requested to at least give their new browser a try.
And yes, Microsoft is not stopping you from making fun of IE.
